What it means for the patient
Laser treatment means many measurable benefits for the patient: less procedural pain, reduced need for anesthesia in many procedures, faster tissue healing, no drill noise. At Mikrostomart, the Fotona LightWalker laser is used, among others, in endodontics (PIPS/SWEEPS canal disinfection), soft tissue surgery, treatment of hypersensitivity, and tooth whitening.
Dr. Nowosielski's role in the organization
Dr. Marcin Nowosielski has been a PTSL member since 2017 and is an active practitioner of laser dentistry. The knowledge gained at PTSL was subsequently deepened through completion of the Master of Science in Lasers in Dentistry program at RWTH Aachen University.
